HeartSaver First Aid, CPR, AED eLearning and skills test: $80.00
This course from the AHA has been updated to reflect new science based on 2016 AHA guidelines for CPR and ECC. The skills test is either held at one of our training sites or on-site. You take an online course with American Heart Association which is self directed and uses interactive lessons and videos to teach you comprehensive first aid, CPR, and AED knowledge. This class is designed for people with limited or no medical training. This CPR Course instruction includes high quality compressions, airway management, breathing, and how to use a mask. The first aid teaches lay rescuers how to recognize and treat emergencies; bandaging, bleeding, wounds, chocking, shock, seizures, fainting, broken bones, sprains, burns, bites, stings, poison, temperature related conditions and more... including cardiac arrest and chocking for adult, child and infant victims. You will receive a 2 year certification card.
- The on -line section will take over 3 hours
- The skills test will take 30 minutes ( you need to register for a time)
HeartSaver CPR and AED training: $60/ with First Aid: $80...most popular!
This course from the AHA is the most common CPR and AED program. It is deigned for people with limited or no medical trainings...an example would be a fitness trainer or a girl scout leader. This course includes how to handle cardiac arrest and chocking for adult, child and infant victims by learning high quality compressions,airway management, breathing, and how to use a mask. You will receive a 2 year certification card. This class will take a minimum of 2.5 hours ( this does not include First Aid additional time added). We can come on-site, call for details. Heartsaver First Aid Only eLearning and Skill check: $50.00
Heartsaver First Aid only eLearning is a self-directed course that uses interactive lessons and videos to teach you comprehensive first aid knowledge, this program is for anyone with limited or no medical training, it includes: First aid basics, medical emergencies, injury emergencies, and environmental emergencies. Once you begin the course, you’ll have access to the online lessons, videos, manuals, and resources for 2 years. You can start and stop the course at you convenience until you have completed it. Once you have completed Part 1 you will need to come with the Completion certification to CPR Life Saver Asheville to take the skills test to receive your AHA First Aid card. Skills and practice test will take at least 30 minutes. If taking the First Aid course at one f our locations or on-site the time is approx. 2 hours.
Heartsaver CPR & AED eLearning and skills check $55.00
This on-line course from AHA follows the same protocol as the Heartsaver First Aid, CPR, AED eLaerning yet it does not include the First Aid section. This self directed course uses interactive lessons and videos will teach comprehensive CPR, AED and choking knowledge. This is for people with limited or no medical training. You will have access to online lessons, videos, manuals and resources for 2 years.
- Complete Heartsaver CPR on line course through the American Heart website
- Bring in Completiton certification that you passed
- You are expected to know the info and will then have a skills test, there is no written portion, just hands on skills test
- You will receive your card that day
Heartsaver FA, CPR and AED courses are intended for anyone who needs a course completion card in first aid, CPR, AED use to meet job, regulatory or other requirements. You will cover everything with a personal mannequin, Family and Friends you will learn adult hands only CPR, child CPR with breaths, adult and child AED use, infant CPR and relief of choking in adults, children and infants. Hands-Only is a shorter program that does not include breathing.
