Course Descriptions

American Heart Association BLS and HeartSaver Instructor Course: Cost $250

This course is designed to prepare medical personnel to become an AHA instructor, the medical community may prefer to have their in-house staff trained to provide CPR/AED/First Aid training. This program is structured for  those who have successfully completed the BLS provider course. In order to take part of this program a letter of recommendation is required from the BLS training Center that you will be affiliated with, for those that are affiliated with a hospital a recommendation must be obtained from TC Coordinator. BLS instructors can train physicians, medics, nurses, EMT’s, PT’s, lifeguards etc., by including the HeartSaver program an instructor can also train all other lay persons. You will be required to teach 4 classes in a 2 year period, in all sections. You are also required to be monitored teaching a class prior to teaching alone, after every 2 years you need to be monitored again to keep your certification.  8 hour course on-site.

BLS CPR/AED for Healthcare Providers “ On -site/Center or eLearning”: Cost $75

You can either come to our training site for hands on training fro certification or re certification or try the  eLearning BLS Class which is designed for a variety of healthcare professionals. If you choose eLearning; students will complete the cognitive portion ( Part 1) of BLS training through a series of self-paced eLearning modules for initial or renewal certification. Students answer short multiple-choice questions within case-based scenarios, and receive feedback based on their answers, to proceed through 10 critical checkpoints. This course provides access to 21 optional review sections, including 17 videos, which reinforce the adult, child and infant CPR sequences taught in the course. Once Part 1 is complete the student receives a certification granting them entrance to a skills practice session ( Part 2) and skills test (Part 3) with our AHA instructor. When you pass the test you qualify for a BLS for Healthcare providers 2 year course card that you will receive at the training site.    


  • Register for hands on training at our training center or we come on site ( certification and re certs) or try the  American Heart Association BLS eLearning course
  • Complete the BLS eLearning course at your own pace-privacy of your home or office.
  • When you pass the eLearning examination, print your certification and bring it to Life Saver CPR FL to take the AHA approved skills test ( you need to register for a time)
  • Students then practice their skills for 30 minutes (Part 2) and are tested for 30 minutes ( Part 3) with Life Saver CPR FL  AHA instructors.
  • Receive your two year AHA BLS certification card after passing Part 3

The AHA hands on course will take appox. 2.5 hours​
The AHA eLearning course takes approx. 1 hour and the class at Life Saver CPR FL is approx. 1 hour

BLS Skills Check Only...this is for those who took the eLearnign program: Cost $30 
You Must have the BLS for Healthcare Providers eLearning ( Part 1) completed to choose this option! The BLS for Healthcare Providers Parts 2 and 3 require students to meet with an AHA instructor to complete a hands-on skills practice session and skills test. Upon successful completion of all three parts students will receive a BLS completion card for two years. This course is for healthcare providers seeking an initial or renewal BLS for Healthcare providers Course compilations card ( Part 1) the online course is sold separately. Bring your printed AHA BLS certification of Completion to Life Saver CPR FL. Skills test takes 1 hour

HeartSaver First Aid, CPR, AED On-site/Center or eLearning and skills test: Cost $75.00...most popular!
This course from the AHA has been updated to reflect new science based on 2016 AHA guidelines for CPR and ECC. This course is either held at our training center or you can take it as an online course which is self directed and uses interactive lessons and videos to teach you comprehensive first aid, CPR, and AED knowledge. This class is designed for people with limited or no medical training. This CPR Course instruction includes high quality compressions, airway management, breathing, and how to use a mask. The first aid teaches lay rescuers how to recognize and treat emergencies; bandaging, bleeding, wounds, chocking, shock, seizures, fainting, broken bones, sprains, burns, bites, stings, poison, temperature related conditions and more... including cardiac arrest and chocking for adult, child and infant victims. You will receive a 2 year certification card. If you come on site the class is over 3.5 hours long and for the skill practice and test only is a minimum of 30 minutes. 

HeartSaver CPR and AED training $50....On -site/Center training
This course from the AHA is the most common CPR and AED program. It is deigned for people with limited or no medical example would be a fitness trainer or a girl scout leader.  This course includes how to handle cardiac arrest and chocking for adult, child and infant victims by learning high quality compressions,airway management, breathing, and how to use a mask. You will receive a 2 year certification card. This class will take a minimum of 2.5 hours.

Heartsaver First Aid Only eLearning and Skill check $50.00 ( we also provide First Aid courses On-site/Center) 
Heartsaver First Aid only eLearning is a self-directed course that uses interactive lessons and videos to teach you comprehensive first aid knowledge, this program is for anyone with limited or no medical training, it includes: First aid basics, medical emergencies, injury emergencies, and environmental emergencies. Once you begin the course, you’ll have access to the online lessons, videos, manuals, and resources for 2 years. You can start and stop the course at you convenience until you have completed it. Once you have completed Part 1 you will need to come with the Completion certification to Life Saver CPR GA to take the skills test to receive your AHA First Aid card. Skills and practice test will take at least 30 minutes. If taking the First Aid course at our center or on-site the time is 2 hours.

Heartsaver CPR AED Only eLearning and skills check $50.00
This on-line course from AHA follows the same protocol as the Heartsaver First Aid, CPR, AED eLaerning yet it does not include the First Aid section.  This self directed course uses interactive lessons and videos will teach comprehensive CPR, AED and choking knowledge. Once again, its for people with limited or no medical training. You will have access to online lessons, videos, manuals and resources for 2 years. As stated in the other courses above you will need to complete Part 1 before you can come to Life Saver CPR GA to finish your skills test to receive your card.  Skills practice and test will take at least 30 minutes.

Heartsaver FA, CPR and AED courses are intended for anyone who needs a course completion card in first aid, CPR, AED use to meet job, regulatory or other requirements. Such as: teachers, home health aids, security guards, police or firefighters, day care workers, camp counselors, nannies, golf courses, etc., 

Hands- Only CPR & Family and Friends for costs
CPR is a life skill everyone should have. You are most likely to use this skill on a friend or loved one...90% of sudden cardiac arrest ( SCA’s) happen at home. Getting quick, effective, bystander CPR can double or even triple a victims chances of survival. The earlier CPR starts the better, with every minute down is another 10% loss.  Brain cells begin to die in 4 minutes-you are learning to bridge the gap between the collapse and EMS arrival. Hands On only and Family and Friends is great for schools, families, grandparents, babysitters, girl/boy scouts, everyone who cares to learn CPR, that does not need certification and wants to learn the basics!  You will cover everything with a personal mannequin, Family and Friends you will learn adult hands only CPR, child CPR with breaths, adult and child AED use, infant CPR and relief of choking in adults, children and infants.  Hands-Only is a shorter program that does not include breathing.
